We all have those items that spark a little joy, making it hard to part with the excess we’ve accumulated over the years. Whether it’s an avalanche of clothes every time you open your wardrobe or a ‘junk drawer’ overflowing with odds and ends, cutting through the clutter can seem overwhelming. But don’t worry, we’re here to help you get organized!

Clearing out the clutter might not top your to-do list—until you’re frantically searching for your car keys or passport. But today is the day to make a change! Start small by dedicating just 15 minutes each day to the task. Take a deep breath, relax, and let’s work through your home together, room by room, to create a more organized and stress-free space

Smart storage solutions

We’ll tell you a secret: it’s impossible to eliminate clutter, but with clever home storage solutions and the use of multi-functional furniture, you can easily get organized. Often, mess accumulates and clutters our home because we have nowhere to store it—sometimes, all you need is an extra basket, trunk, or shelf. The size of your home and how many items you have will determine what storage solution is right for you.

Customise it with fabric to coordinate with your lounge or create a funky accent piece with bright or contrasting fabric. Need a larger option? The Storage Ottoman has got your back with its super-fly storage space, perfect for extra blankets and other knick-knacks… or to hide mess from last-minute guests.

Looking for a versatile piece? The Cleo Ottoman is a great option that blends comfort with style, offering a perfect addition to your living room. And with Design It Your Way, it’s so easy to create a sofa you love at an affordable price! With more than 50 fabrics to choose from, there’s a sofa for every style and every home.

Refresh and renew

First things first, you’re going to have to remove everything room by room, section by section and sort them into three piles; keep, toss and donate, no sitting on the fence! It’s easier to see what you do and don’t need when everything is laid out in front of you.

Keep – Ask yourself whether you really use something in your home. Do you really need that charger that only works when bent a certain way? Or those magazines from more than a few years ago? The goal is to surround yourself with items that make you happy and give you a sense of joy when you use them. Toss – If it’s old, damaged or stained, throw it away. Don’t think of it as tossing out old memories or precious things, but rather making way for new pieces to love.

Donate – If you’ve never used it, chances are that you never will. If something you own doesn’t tick all the boxes for the keep pile, it’s time to let it go and give it to someone who needs it. A good rule of thumb is thinking whether you’ve used it in the last 6 months or not.

Keep It Clutter-Free

The secret to a tidy and organized home lies in maintaining order. After you’ve sorted through your belongings, it’s time to give everything a dedicated place. Whether it’s a spot on a bookshelf, a bedside table, or within a display cabinet, ensuring that each item has a specific home is crucial. This way, tidying up becomes a breeze, and finding what you need is effortless. Challenge yourself to hold onto only what you truly need and cherish. By curating your possessions, you’ll create a more streamlined space that’s easier to maintain and more enjoyable to live in.
